Yogurt!

Ok, my new year resolution is to eat healthy (lots of veggie, low fat and add dairy into my diet for calcium). So far, it's been working well for me, I am better at portion my food and choose things that are good for me. I was in Whole the other day shopping for fresh fruit when I came across their yogurt section. I usually buy fat free one from the local market and never notice the regular ones. The only yogurt available in Whole Food were regular yogurt, I was checking their nutritional content when I realize for a small thing, there is 160 calories! Ok, that might not sound a lot, but if you calculated, if you eat things that are "regular", none of the low fat, fat-free stuff, you really can't eat much because you will reach the 1500/2000 calorie daily requirement really quickly! This got me thinkg, so how do regular people eat????? ......

what about organic yogurt?
I actually looked, but they were all regular, not even low fat...
Low fat diet is a myth http://www.abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=123869
low fat or no fat is never low calories. it is a way for people to control fat intake, but not as health substitute. THAT-- is why americans are fat. they think just because they are eating low/no fat items, they are allowed to eat.
Definetly never check the sugar content before..... the light n' fit yogurt is actaully quiet low in calorie, about 60 in each, but they are also smaller. Right now, I count calorie to get an idea of how much I eat, and low fat product helps a bit since they allows me to eat a bit more in comparison to the non fat stuff. I definetly agree with Chrisitne on how American take the idea of low fat too far though, seriusly, they think if it says low fat, you can eat all you want!
I feel I'm getting fat.
come on, James! There is no way you are fat, you are one of the most fit guy I know :)
