CDC Alert

Importance: High

The Centers for Disease Control has issued a medical alert about a highly contagious, potentially dangerous virus that is transmitted orally, by hand, and even electronically. This virus is called Weary Overload Recreational Killer (WORK). If you receive WORK from your boss, any of your colleagues, or anyone else via any means whatsoever - DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life completely. If you should come into contact with WORK you should immediately leave the premises.

Optional: Take two good friends to the nearest grocery store and purchase antidote - Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system.

You should immediately forward this medical alert to five friends. If you do not have five friends, you have already been infected and WORK is controlling your life.

Movies I watched this weekend

So I saw two of the highly anticipated movies this weekend - Sex and the city and Indiana Jones 4. Both of them are great! I won't say too much to spoil for those of you who hasn't seen it yet.

Sex and the City - it is fun but sometimes sad while watching this movie... I think a lot of the girls who are in the theater feel deeply about the topics in the movie such as marriage, children, career, and how to find independence among all those.

Indiana Jones - ok, I still think Harrison Ford looks hot even when he is in his 60s! It's very entertaining and with Shea as sidekick, definetly a fun movie to enjoy.
Sidenote - I watched this movie by myself tonight, hasn't done this solo movie going thing in awhile, it's actually not bad :)

Try not to say "I'm stressed"

Hmmm, just read in my magazine that you should not use the word "stress" because as you are saying it, it will MAKE you feel stressful. But seriously, I think I am trying to do too much in May & June and I am overworking myself. Here are all the things I'm trying to accomplish:
(1) CSA (practice Step 2 Clinical Skills) exam in Philly 5/17
(2) REAL Step 2 CS (which cost me $1000 to register) in Philly 5/19
(3) Trying to finish research work for 1 of 2 paper by end of this month
(4) Study and hopefully do well for my last rotation of my 3rd year - Pediatrics!
(5) Shelf exam for Peds 6/13
(6) Study for Step 2 Clinical Knowledge from 6/14 to 7/3
(7) Step 2 CK 7/3
(8) Start 4th year on 7/7!
(9) Start working on my resarch work 2/2 in July.

Ok, just typing all these out are scaring me. I really want to use the "S" word, but I shouldn't. OK, breath... breath.... breath.... YIKES!

Wacky traffic law

I read about these wacky traffic laws on CNN and can't stopped laughing!

In California, no vehicle without a driver may exceed 60 miles per hour. But who gets the ticket?!

In Florida, if an elephant, goat or alligator is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.

In Montana, it is illegal to have a sheep in the cab of your truck without a chaperone.

In Oregon, a door on a car may not be left open longer than necessary.

In Tennessee, it is illegal shoot any game other than whales from a moving automobile.
Good luck finding a whale in Tennessee!
