Happy Mother's Day!

Tuesday (May 10th) was my older sister's Birthday. And since we couldn't go out to celebrate on Sunday for Mother's Day due to severe thunderstorm in Houston, my family decided to combine the two and went out on Tuesday to Truluck for dinner. http://www.trulucks.com/ The seafood is great there, especially stone crab claws. So anyway, after dinner I went to the restroom and when I came out, there was little cute 10 years old boy going into men's room. He was smiling and all that, so I said hi. And right before I step back into the restaurant area, he turn around and said "Happy Mother's Day!" I know he is a 10 year old boy and probably all women who is over 18 is old to him... but still.... :( Do I look that motherly??? So sad...

oh my gosh, that's funny how your bro looks like your dad... :P

I think I am ok with "ma'am" coz you use it whenever you want to be polite :)

i agree with the politeness factor-- but hmmm.. i'd rather they call me miss, i think.

i feel old when kids, like obnoxious jr high kids, call me ma'am. heh heh.

ya.. it's already bad enough when ppl stopped checking my ID for beer/wine.... and now "ma'am"?

2 yrs ago, i almost strangled my cousin's teacher who had called me "auntie" when i took my little cousin (who was 9 at the time) to class one day.. ACK!

oh yeah, I get the auntie one quite often with my younger cousin. but I guess I am really a auntie now with my cousin has two sons.

I really don't like obnoxious jr high kids, they are the worst!
