Texans take cheerleading really seriously!
I guess I already know this since junior high school :P But this is the first time anyone higher in rank than school president is taking notice of cheerleaders. http://www.slate.com/id/2116060/?GT1=6334. I should have tried out for cheerleader I guess, as the article says that cheerleaders represent "captain-of-industry model" :P

its only cuz of the connotations associated with cheerleaders. however, except for stupid trump shows, cheerleaders dont always make very far?? heee hee hee.
its true though, cheerleading is HUGE in the south. all those teeny bopp movies like bring it on or whatever, always in tx or the southern states.
I think the phenomenum is fuel by the fact that in high school, looks is almost everything. the jocks and cheerleaders are the people that everyone wants to be friends with. But in college, none of that seem to matter....
