Cartier Jewelry Exhibition
I am in love with Cartier after seeing its Jewelry Exhibition at the Meseum of Fine Art, Houston. http://www.mfah.org/main.asp?target=exhibition&par1=1&par2=1&par3=201. The design of the jewelry is amazing, needless to say. But the clock design by Cartier, especially the mystery clock, is the one that attract my attention. http://www.roger-russell.com/mysteryclocks/mysteryclocks.htm. This website offers some explanation, but the Cartier one look like it is made from a whole piece of crystal. So I am still in search of how it actually works.
Of Jewelry, my favorite is the Crocodile Necklace, don't you think it looks amazing!

maybe instead of paying back my loans, i will pull togeher first 5 months of salary AFTER graduation/residency for my own gift. HA!
i really like the van cleef & arpel collections in general. i just love how they always incorp. nature in to their intricate designs. too bad they dont have a website.
I will go check out van cleef & arpel collections, although if no website, I don't know how I will find out more about it.
Definetly very tempted to spend my salary on jewelry instead of on paying back student loans.

i have seen many van cleef & arpel ads in instyle, maybe cosmo(???), and some of the more "upscale" wine/dine or fashion magazines. there is also a van cleef & arpel STORE on michigan ave in chicago, very VERY next to your dear cartier. hint hint... ;)
that's definetly a big hint :P let's go check it out when I am in Chicago, hopefully soon in March! :)
