Carpet cleaning

whewwww, just finish cleaning part of the carpet in the living room.... very tired. I don't know why, but I was determined since Monday to go rent an industrial strength carpet cleaning machine and wash the carpet in the house. I went to Home Depot today and rented one, the old guy behind the counter think it's funny that I am attempting to clean! Anyway, it's easier than I thought to manuver the machine, but harder than I thought to get the spots out. My sister's cat - Little One, is the guilty one of leaving many stains around the edge of the carpet in the living room. After trial and error, I learned to put spot treatment down, wash the carpet with the machine, then let it sit for ~20 min before vacuum away the water. I roughfly clean all the spot today, from 2pm to 10pm, and I think I will clean it one more time tomorrow. Overall, it's a lot cheaper than hiring someone and I am more careful around the furnitures. Now I am tired, definetly need a shower and sleep!
