My Snowboarding Trip

Sorry that I haven't update my blog for awhile, I was out in Vail, CO for snowboarding with my dad, mom and Yi (older sis). The weather in Vail is great, mostly in the 40s & 50s. So I don't have to dress up in too much layers in order to survive on the slope! But at the same time, it didn't snow at all while I was there, so the slope just gets more and more icy. I stayed mostly on green and blue lane, so I was ok. But I did took a dramatic fall on my second day of snowboarding :P While going down on the "Born Free" blue slope that I went down so many times already, I caught something while going down and fell backward. I tumble down the hill and flip backward twice before I stopped. I was lucky that I didn't hurt myself, especially that I wasn't wearing a helmet! Needless to say, I immediately went to shop at the base and rented a helmet for the rest of the trip. Rest of my snowboarding trip went well until the last day (Tuesday) when I decided to go try out the snowboarding park with Yi. We start out with very small hills and small jumps. Thing went well until during one of the jump I got bold, and jumped a lot higher than usual. Well, I end up landing on my chest :P It hurts so bad, plus my right wrist is spraned a bit from trying to break the fall. Well, for the rest of the day, I stay away from jumping and ended my day peacefully. Vail is a great place to go snowboarding and I want to go again soon!!!
