I got soaked!
I woke up at 5:10AM and got ready for work around 5:35AM, I asked my mom if it's raining outside but she told me it's just the sprinklers. Well, it's not the sprinklers and it starts to rain when I got on the bus and it went non-stop today. Houston has never seen so much rain, so, I got soaked the first day of work, at least I didn't wear a white T-shirt :P Throughout orientation today, I got brainwashed into beliving MD Anderson is the greatest place to work at and I should be really grateful that I got an offer to work there :P Oh, and MD Anderson will ALWAYS be the #1 cancer center in the world! Ok, I sound psychotic now :P I also found out today that I am the only person that my boss hired for her brand new lab here in MD Anderson, I guess I won't have any colleagues to talk to for awhile. Poor me.... :P

awww, it's been raining like a mother here in chicago too!!! boo! today is the first sunny day in a few days. yay!
how's work! what do you do?
well, so far, I am just the lab manager/secretary. I have to order supplies and clean the shelves. Also trying to figure out where everything goes. My official title is Senior Research Assistant, but I don't think the research part will come later :P
