Babies!

I got a surprise when I went downstair today to check on my mice, there are two litters of pups! They are so small and so red, they look nothing like a mouse yet, except the tail. I didn't think the mice going to give birth until after New Year, I guess some of them just can't wait. I separate the mom and pups into separate cage due to MD Anderson standard, which Dr. Flores does not agree, oh well, we will work that out when she get back. Ok, going back to my FileMakerPro 7 programing.

Happy Holiday!

It's the day before Christmas Eve and I am at work, well, I am coming to work tomorrow, too. It's kind of sad the MD Anderson does not allow me to use any of my pay day off hours (not that I have many) until I worked here for 6 months. So any time I decide to take off, I will have to make it up if I want to get paid. Oh well, it's not like I have any grand plan with my day anyway. But I am going shopping today at Galleria, I hope I don't die from being stomp over by crowd of holiday shoppers :P I tried to get a ipod to put on hold for Lucy and pick it up later, but store says they can't do that because of the holiday, also because there are already a line of people waiting to get it outside of the store! scary.... Well, good luck to me and hope I survive holiday shopping. Happy Holiday!

Christmas light

I am so tired and sore right now because I spent half of my Sunday putting up Christmas decoration light (outdoor one). I decided to be just simple and put up lights on the small shrubs in the front yard. But my problem started when I bring the light out from storage, they are all tangled! I spent the next hour de-tangle all the light. Then when I finally ready to start warpping up lights, I noticed some of the strings of light is only half on, so I have to take them down and re-wrap. After finish half of the yard, I look back and ready to enjoy my work, that's when I noticed all the lights are out! It turns out the circuit in the garage is bad and we had to call eletrician to come in. I guess I won't see any of my hard work until next weekend, sigh, why do I put myself through so much.... :P Well, happy holiday to everyone in advance! :)

Metro bus tale

Well, I have been using the public transportation of Houston to get to work since November 1st, and there are a lot of weird things going on there. For example, the departure time from Katy is 6:25am sharp, but getting to working destination can range from 7:30am to 8:15am, mostly excluding weather factors. Also, people are just not careful with your hair (well, my hair), when they get up from their seat, a lot of the time they will pull my hair because they are using my seat as a levage to get up, it hurts :( Anyway, the worst or the worst is when the person next to you is sick, which is the case today, she kept coughing the whole 1hr 20min ride. Nothing against sick people, is just that, please take a cough drop when you are sick and riding a bus, it's better for everyone. all right, gotta stop complaining and go work now. I am going to Cleveland in five hours, yeah!
